Hot Bone - Promotour
Hot Bone played the Yorkshire House t’other night, they were good, so I bought a cd. But more than that, they were really good, so I listened to the cd. The cd was also equally good.
It kicks off and doesn’t really let up at any point, which could get tiresome, but is counteracted by the length of the cd which is really too short to have sex to without having to keep stopping to get up and hit play again. Sort it out lads, eh!
Happy Bottom Riding Club, great start, great title. The drumming is awesome. Dry Wizard is my fave track at the time i’m writing cos it’s just a little wierder than the others and features some nice tight pauses.
Check out their facespace if you think it’ll help, or you could just listen to me…
I listened to the cd about ten times which probably means I quite enjoyed it, but tbh I was probably also trying to find a reason why it doesn’t sound exactly like That Fucking Tank, which it doesn’t and you’re just gonna have to trust me on that.
Maybe its the breakbeats the drummer was using or the ultra fast pace of the songs, whatever, it’s definitely worth your while going to see Hot Bone live. Their Beard:Song ratio is pretty impressive too.
