Lets begin at the beginning
Part One: Reuben - Manchester Academy
Went to see Reuben again last night in Manchester, it’s a sunday, it’s a school night, but I ain’t phased. Some support was provided by the Baddies who, I’m sorry guys, but I didn’t rate. Additional support came in the shape of Brighton hardcore crew Ghost of a Thousand, who were pretty good, if a little Gallows like.
Reuben were awesome, but then I wasn’t expecting anything less. A whole hour and a half, instead of an encore we got three walk-ons instead which was pretty funny. Plus Jamie played some nice mid-set acoustic goodness.
Well I’m nearly asleep at my desk and still waiting for the CDs I ordered not so long ago. Not that I’m impatient, it’s not like I’ve been stood on my doorstep in my dressing gown waiting for the postman, no it’s cold so I was stood in the hallway, But I am really excited.
I’ve got a bit to wait but I also ordered Wristcutters: A Love Story which is an awesome film featuring Shannyn Sossamon from A Knights Tale and Tom Waits, as well as a fucking cool soundtrack with loads of Gogol Bordello. Can’t really go wrong there.
Part Two: Any minute now… WHAM! BAM! Communism!
Would you believe it! I get home from work and lo’ and behold two shiny CD’s just waiting for me. Let me never say a bad word about Play again. So now I find myself sat listening to Frank Turner, drinkin’ vodka and eating my words.
If you ain’t bought Love Ire & Song yet, then get to it, it’s good like, lad! But I’ll leave telling you all about it until another post, right now I’m gonna polish off this bottle and put my alcohol soaked brain matter to the task of working out what the fuck is going on in Lost once and for all…

You have a point there my friend. But I ask you, why would you NOT buy Love Ire and Song? Or at least borrow it…
