A man walks into a bar…
I’m just sat watching the sunset after an awesome weekend. People drank, nobody slept, fun was had by all.
Met a guy in a club whose name I can’t remember but I ranted to/at him about a lack of Glassjaw in my life and he finally relented under the furiosity of my onslaught and revealed that they have a date confirmed in the UK soon. Somehow I remembered in the morning and a quick check on the internet revealed that they do seem to have a date sorted, unfortunately it’s in Dublin which is a little out of my way

On side note it is apparently Daryl’s birthday today, so happy birthday Daryl Palumbo I guess.
Secondsmile are busy recording their new album stateside at the moment with Andrew Schneider (Cave in and Pelican) and I’m really looking forward to that coming out. I’m gonna have to keep an eye out for further details, such as a release date, or a name, or anything even remotely helpful.
Which is the kind of info I do have on Frank Turner whose new album Love Ire & Song comes out on the 31st March. Check out his myspace for a one song sample called Photosynthesis which would suggest that the album is going to be a nice big slice of joy for me.
