Scream Murder is the weblog of Matt.
Music and web design are Matt’s primary passions in this world, so in his tiny mind it only made sense to combine them.
The name Scream Murder was first used by several mates including myself as a means to promote gigs in the Lancashire area around the same time as some other awesome promoters were working their magic such as, Loaded Gun/Open Crowd and Bay Area Thrash.
Starting out with local bands and moving further afield as the scene at the time increased in popularity and jeans got tighter and tighter. We got to put on some pretty awesome bands, Capulet, Devil Sold His Soul, Meet Me In St. Louis to name a few of my favourites.
These events trailed off as people were forced to get “real” jobs. So it made sense to waste some more time while I wait for us all to get sacked and write about what I love.
My aim is to harp on endlessly about the music and bands that I like, review their albums , write about their gigs and hopefully connect with others who love these things too.
